MILESTONE FILMS
My passion for storytelling was ignited when I graduated from high school. At that time, I created a short film for my parents, reflecting on my journey up to that point.
My career took me into film/video production working with brands like HBO, Showtime, Discovery, but I longed for more personal storytelling. I found that fulfillment in creating a documentary celebrating my parents’ 80th.
For years, my mother had been experiencing severe memory loss, which emphasized the importance of documenting her story and our family’s history. That urgency fueled my commitment to creating a lasting legacy for future generations who deserve to know the richness of their past. I cherish the time I had to connect profoundly with them, as well as with other family and friends who played a vital role in the research.
Surprising my parents with the final full-length film, premiering at a local theater and surrounded by loved ones, was one of the most meaningful moments of my life. I knew then what I wanted to do in my next chapter – help others tell their stories.
